PUBLICATION STANDARD

Document first. Label clearly. Correct openly.

This project separates verified records, pending allegations, family statements, expert opinions, and unresolved questions so readers can evaluate each item in context.

EVIDENCE CLASSIFICATION

Every public item receives a status.

Status labels describe what a source can establish—not what readers should conclude.

Court or agency record

Verified source

An identifiable court, government, or original-source record. Publication confirms the record exists; it does not prove every allegation contained in it.

Family statement

Attributed account

A statement reflecting the family’s understanding or experience. It is labeled and should not be reported as an independent legal finding.

Under review

Not ready for public reliance

A source that requires authentication, context, redaction, or legal review before publication or stronger characterization.

Restricted

Preserved, not published

Medical, private, privileged, sealed, or third-party-sensitive material may remain available only to authorized legal or professional reviewers.

PRIVACY

Necessary facts, minimum exposure.

Personal addresses, account numbers, minors’ information, medical details, private contact information, and unrelated third-party identifiers are removed or withheld whenever publication is not necessary to understand the record.

LEGAL CONTEXT

Charges are not convictions.

Pending allegations are described as allegations. An arrest, complaint, affidavit, or charging document does not establish guilt. Criminal responsibility is determined through lawful proceedings.

CORRECTIONS

The record can be corrected.

Specific, sourced correction requests are reviewed against the underlying material. Meaningful corrections should identify what changed and why.
